There is a fuel pump cut off switch wired to the factory sunroof toggle button. The factory cigarette lighter port works (phone charger). We hard wired in a Valentine 1 radar above the rear view mirror. Other Rennline upgrades include aluminum door lock knobs, aluminum parking brake handle, aluminum foot rests, and aluminum shift joint cover. We used Rennline brushed aluminum pedals and rebuilt the pedal cluster w/new bronze bushings. We did a black vinyl headliner that is beautifully installed and 100% flawless. We used a black lightweight RS carpet kit and RS vinyl door panels w/red leather pull straps. We used 5 point Corbeau camlock harnesses. We sent the seat inserts to Patrick Motorsports to be recovered in classic hounds tooth fabric. The seats do not move but could be remounted to fit anybody. They are bolted to custom fabricated steel brackets welded to the floor.

The seats are lightweight fiberglass fixed Corbeau FX1 Pro seats. The interior was completely gutted and everything in the cabin is new. We did paint the engine bay when the motor was out. A nice trunk carpet kit would cover this if wanted. So we did not paint the front inside trunk area (its still GP White). My buddy talked me into going with a bright color at the last moment, literally days before the car went to paint. I was initially going to keep the Grand Prix White and avoid the added time and expense by changing colors.
HOT ROD PORSCHE 911 ENGINE FULL
*My only regret on this build is not doing a full rotisserie media blast, dip and paint of the entire shell/chassis. The windshield is the only glass in the car that is not OEM Porsche/Sekurit. The windshield wipers were flipped to the passenger side.We installed a new windshield and OEM gasket. We also did a new OEM gas cap, silver hood crest and Rennline tow hooks welded to the chassis (fitted through the bumpers). The headlamps are HID Xenon units from Flat6illumination. Other exterior details include new front Bosch turn signal units, euro taillight lenses and a new OEM rear center reflector. We did lightweight non power 993 mirrors. We also deleted the rocker panels and torsion bar covers (everything counts). The hood, bumpers, ducktail and tail light housings are all fiberglass. We shed allot of weight by using fiberglass body panels wherever possible. The front fenders turned out to be OEM Turbo fenders and are PERFECT! There was no rust anywhere on the car except small spots in the lower corners of the windshield frame which we fixed. Seam sealer, primer and a bed liner type material were used on the inner fenders to protect from corrosion/debris. He then butt welded the flares on which is the right technique to use. He had to remove the rear steel Turbo flares because they were previously lap welded onto the car, which eventually will rust. He filled the antenna hole, removed the euro side blinkers, and welded in a modified painted Patrick Motorsports roll bar. This creates a clean downward exit for air flow and greatly enhances cooling. He cut out a section of the front tub and welded in a Elephant Racing RSR replica diverter plate behind the front mounted oil cooler. Some of the major metal work Jason did includes deleting the sunroof and all of its components. The pictures do not show the true color of this car, it must be seen in person to appreciate. We used OEM Porsche Glasurit paint products and finished the car in Miami Blue (M5C) paint. I had a reproduction VIN sticker imported from Poland (Car-bone) because Porsche no longer makes them. We did new OEM door sills, striker plates and door throws. I spent over a grand on OEM rubber seals alone. He stripped the car to bare metal, all glass and body panels were removed. Jason worked on my car for over 15 months and it was worth the wait. Several of his builds have won major awards and were featured in Excellence magazine. He is very well known in the 356 world and routinely does very intensive 3-5 year concourse restorations. The paint & body work was done by Jason Hiler, owner of Porsche specialist Heritage Motorcar Restoration in Parrish,Fl. Here is a breakdown of what's been done to the car. The newly built 3.6 engine, tranny and suspension have just over 500 shake down miles (and counting). I have the clean title in hand along with every single receipt for all parts and labor. This is a ROW euro car VIN # WP0ZZZ91ZCS101235. The donor car was a super clean $38K 1982 911SC Turbo clone in Grand Prix White. This is one scary lightweight (2195lbs) and fast (375HP/300Tq.) Porsche 911 that took 3 years to complete. 1982 Porsche 911 MIAMI BLUE LIGHTWEIGHT WIDEBODY 3.6 HOT ROD
